Good news everyone!
The Norwegian Film Institute has decided to fund our project Among the Sleep with an additional 200.000 NOK! Again, we are able to reduce time spent on our unsatisfactory part time jobs in favor of game development. How privileged!
At the same time, the norwegian ministry of culture recently announced that governmental videogame funding will be doubled during the next two years. A significant step towards games’ cultural value being recognized equal to other mediums.

Funding from NFI and another award
Today the Norwegian Film Institute announced Krillbite Studio as one of five developers to receive development funds this round! More specifically we are granted 225.000 NOK (over 40.000 USD) to work on our project Among the Sleep.
In other news, the annual Hamar Game Challenge was held last week. With a jury consisting of both talented entrepreneurs as well as market analysts we were thrilled to win!
Among The Sleep won the NGA Hype award!

One particular night a terrifying event occurs, forcing you to flee from your home and enter a surreal world. Only accompanied by Teddy, you must overcome many hardships to stay alive and find a way home.
Launched a blog!
Hi there, and welcome to the Krillbite blog, our studio’s window to the world! As well as publishing news and updates about the studio and our projects, we will use this blog to publish articles, discussions, tutorials and news relevant to game development.
